In this video, I discuss the psychology that drives people to make buying decisions.
No one cares about you.
That sounds harsh but it is the reality. No one cares that you have huge muscles, or that you have been a trainer for over 10 years, or that you have won fitness competitions before.
The reality is that everyone is out for themselves. Everyone is thinking 'what's in it for me?' and until you fully grasp that, it is going to be very hard to get new clients into your business.
It is important to understand what drives buying decisions. You must create a logical, and an emotional argument to why someone should buy. It helps to ask the right questions to a prospect to extract this information, and weave that back into your offer if you want to persuade them to hire you as a personal trainer.
This is why listening is such an important skill as a salesperson, instead of talking.
Once you fully understand this concept it will revolutionise how you approach getting new clients on board, and instead of selling personal training packages and discounts, you will start selling the outcomes that your prospects want.
