At the 2019 Holberg Debate, Zizek was challenged by free-market economist Tyler Cowen about his sense of humour, which Cowen said was that of a right winger, arguing that Zizek's jokes would no longer be tolerated by the politically correct woke left. Zizek responded and brought up incels.
