Zizek challenged: "You are not a Communist. You are a Conservative!"

At the 2019 Holberg Debate, Zizek was challenged by free-market economist Tyler Cowen about his political views. Citing citing China as an example of the failure of Communism, Cowen argued that Zizek was, in fact, not really a communist, but that his political views aligned much more closely with capitalist Taiwan and Singapore.
