Ingredients
1)Fish 11/2 kg
2)Raw Mango half of a mango 1/4 cup
3)Onion 1 sliced
4) Green chilli 3-4
5)Ginger crushed 1 tbsp
6) Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
7) Kashmiri red chilli powder 2 tbsp
8) Coriander powder 2 tbsp
9) Turmeric powder 1 tsp
10) Fenugreek powder 1/2 tsp
11) Grated coconut 1 cup
12)Salt for taste
13)Curry leaves
14) Coconut oil 4 tbsp
15) Chopped Shallots 4 nos
Method
1)Clean the fish
2)Take a Kadai.Add Coconut oil.Let it hot.
3)Add crushed ginger and garlic.Saute it Then add Onion and green chilli.Saute it.When it becomes transparent add raw sliced mango Again saute it.Then add kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and Fenugreek powder.Saute it till remove the raw smell.Add 2 1/2 cups of boiling water.Add salt for taste.Add fish and close with a lid.
After 7 minutes open the lid and add coconut paste.Then rotate the kadai.Don't mix with spoon.Then add curry leaves.Wait for 5 minutes.When the fish curry becomes thick gravy turn off the stove.
Then take another pan,add 1 tbsp coconut oil.Let it hot.Add chopped shallots and curry leaves.When it becomes golden brown colour turn off the stove and pour the oil into the fish curry and close with a lid.Coconut fish curry is ready to serve 😊
