Mobile Workbench with TONS of Storage

Tired of a messy shop? In this video, I’m transforming my old, suboptimal 2x4 rolling workbench into a high-capacity storage powerhouse! By rebuilding the base with a custom drawer cabinet, I’m maximizing every inch of space and finally freeing up my shop walls.

I’ll show you how to build this sturdy cabinet using just one sheet of 3/4" plywood and one sheet of 1/2" plywood. Whether you have a fancy track saw or just a basic circular saw with a straight edge, you can tackle this project to fit your specific shop needs.

In this build, we cover:
-Breaking down sheet goods for a 38.5" x 22" x 29" cabinet box.
-Why you should never skimp on casters for workshop furniture.
-Installing 8 symmetrical drawers with varying depths (3" to 8").
-A "third-hand" trick for installing full-extension drawer slides perfectly every time.
-Making custom, low-cost plywood drawer pulls.
