How to Avoid Planer SNIPE! // Cutting Board // Woodworking

UPDATE: The runners I used to avoid planer snipe has been such a good shop hack that I had to change the title and thumbnail of this video to ensure people knew to do this because planer snipe is the worst!

I have been hooked on woodworking, home improvement and pretty much anything having to do with power tools since I was a teenager. Over the years I have worked for home builders, remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, and most recently, started a tiny side business making wooden flags and signs. In all those years, I just never really got much exposure to working with high quality hardwoods. It’s time for that to change. My social media feeds are filled with the most beautiful photos of woodworking projects and a lot of those are cutting boards. I had to give it a try. I purposely kept these boards simple in wood type but intermediate in details. I wanted to try a juice groove and chamfered edges and I'm so glad I did. I’ll save the custom engraving for next time ;) I can see why people love making these. I learned a ton and can’t wait to continue exploring all the different types of hardwoods out there. But don’t worry, I still have a never ending list of home improvement projects to do and film. #cuttingboard #planersnipe #woodworking
