'Castle Dangerous' played by Huntly Pipe Band outside the Braemar Gathering Highland Games Pavilion

Drum Major Derek Dean and Pipe Major Ian Stuart lead Huntly & District Pipe Band, starting their performances with 'Castle Dangerous' outside the Braemar Gathering and Highland Games Centre in Aberdeenshire, Scotland on Sunday 1st September 2019.

The Highland Games heritage centre was opened by Her majesty the Queen during the 2018 Braemar Gathering, but the The Duke of Rothesay Highland Games Pavilion wasn't opened to the public until Easter 2019. The £2.5 million, pistachio-green heritage centre is set in the grounds of the Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park. In addition to providing a new headquarters for the Braemar Royal Highland Society, the pavilion, which will be open to the public from early 2019, will also hosts a restaurant and an exhibition of medals, trophies and memorabilia from the Highland Games and Gatherings.
