'Highland Cathedral' performed by Huntly Pipe Band with Dancing by Michelle Gordon in Huntly 2018

Huntly & District Pipe Band, led by Drum Major Derek Dean and Pipe Major Ian Stuart, playing 'Highland Cathedral' in Huntly Square. The young lady dancing is the 2018 World Junior Highland Dancing champion, Michelle Gordon, who comes from Huntly. This was part of their 70th anniversary celebrations in the town, when they invited ex-bandsmen and guests to play along with them for this special celebration.

Huntly and District Pipe Band are a recreational band, formed in 1948 by Gordon Highlanders returning home from service in WWII, and the Gordon tartan is synonymous with the Huntly and District Pipe Band, having been devised by Forsythes of Huntly.
