ARMENIAN TRADITIONAL ANOUSH ABOUR: CHRISTMAS TREAT

INGRIDIENTS

2 cups of barley
28 cups of water
2 table spoons of orange blossom water
1 cup of sugar

Add two cups of barley and 12 cups of water in a deep pot and cook on a high heat in the beginning until it starts boiling. Once it starts to boil bring the heat down and continue cooking. Once the water reduces add 4 more cups of water and continue cooking. do this a few times. All together you will have to add 28 cups of water. Cook until barley melts and releases starch. As it releases the starch it becomes more ticker and starchy. Before you add your last 4 cups of water add one cup of sugar and two teaspoons of orange water. Continue cooking until it reduces and becomes tick consistency. (Please refer to video)
Turn it off and plate it. Serve it with walnuts or any nuts and tried fruits.

երկու բաժակ Կորկոտին ավելացնել 12 բաժակ ջուր և եփել։ Ջուրը երբ պակասի ավելացնել ևս 4 բաժակ ջռւր և շարունակել եփել։ կրկնել ավելացնել ջուր մինչեվ 28 բաժակ։ Երբ ավելացնեք վերջի չորս բաժակ ջուրը նույնպես ավելացրեք մեկ բաժակ շաքար և երկու թեյի գտալ ծաղիկի ջուր։ Շարունակեք եխել միմչեվ թանձրանա։ Ավելացնել պնակների մեջ և թողնել սարչի։ վրան ավելացրեք չոր պտուղ, դարչին, մեխակ և ընկույզ և մատուցեք սարը վիճակում։
