TIPS for RVING in the NORTHEAST | ALMOST SIDESWIPED | HOW to do WASHINGTON DC S1 || Ep14

While driving from Virginia Beach to Maryland, we are almost sideswiped by a bus. We lock up the brakes on the truck and trailer and need to pull over immediately to assess the damage to the rig. Coming off a very stressful drive day, we arrive at our friend’s property, damage the outside of our rig for the first time and make what could have been a devastating mistake while detaching.

We offer 4 RV tips for driving in the Northeast to show you how to avoid mistakes while RVing and help you have a safe and less expensive journey to some of the most beautiful spots in the US near our home state of Maine.

While in Maryland, we have a little Kentucky Derby party, and for Leila’s birthday, our friends bought her a cake decorating class at Duff Goldman’s Charm City Cakes as seen on the Food Network’s show Ace of Cakes.

We get to swap out the truck for a tuned BMW 335 for our trip into DC. We check out the monuments and memorials before our first time to the Bible Museum, the Botanical Gardens and the Air and Space Museum.
