Being the only 5 star carrier in Europe, Lufthansa is a multi-faceted airline where one can experience a world class first class but also a budget airline like economy class. The broad spectrum of Lufthansa’s onboard experience makes it one of the most controversial airline in the 5 star battalion.

My 8 hours flight on the upper deck of Lufthansa’s 747-8 does not resemble a premium airline. The single plated dinner and seat without aisle access are a step behind the transatlantic market in 2021.
