This is the fourth in the Intermediate Clock Repair For Beginners series.
In this Episode I will show you how to manually remove a mainspring from a barrel.
The mainspring is cleaned with kerosene and a piece of scourer pad, then the kero/dirt is wiped off with a clean cloth.
The mainspring is greased before being reinserted back into its barrel by hand.
