𝐌𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐢 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬, 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐛

I've seen the windows in the sandstone cliff a bunch of times and was excited to finally check them out. The caverns are also known as the Kanab Sand Caves.

🚙 Park on the west side of the road between Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and Moqui Cave (Moqui Cave is not the same as the Caverns - don't park in their lot).

🚶🏿‍♀️ Cross the road and follow one of many user trails toward the caverns.

🧗🏼‍♂️ Find a place to climb the cliff (it's grippy sandstone and easy to walk up) to the ledge. Follow the ledge to the caverns.

🚫 Don't add to the scratched-in graffiti, please. If you must relieve yourself, follow Leave No Trace protocols.

📷 An hour or two before sunset is the best time for photos, but I went early and had the place to myself.

⏱ This excursion could take anywhere from 20 minutes to a couple of hours.
