Taos, New Mexico

We climbed our third peak - 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐤 — New Mexico’s highest.

Wheeler Peak is a lovely 8.8-mile hike in the Sangre de Christo Mountains near Taos.

We aren’t just walking up mountains on this trip, we are also exploring nearby towns and scenic areas.

In Taos we stumbled on the Taos Fiesta - music, food vendors, and a carnival-like atmosphere in the central plaza. Of course we ate lots of green chile, too!
