At the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Team Ecuador had their most successful Olympics ever. They won a total of five medals. They secured one gold, two silver, and two bronze medals. Brian Pintado won Team Ecuador's only gold medal in his third Olympics. He crowned himself a champion in the 20 km walk relay, missing the Olympic record by only nine seconds. He also won a silver medal in the mixed marathon walk relay together with Glenda Morejon.
