Meghan Markle to face 'massive blowback' if she 'takes on the Queen'

Meghan Markle is going to get "massive blowback" if she takes on the Queen and the Royal Family in an upcoming tell-all interview, according to The Australian Financial Review’s Aaron Patrick.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to feature in a tell-all interview with TV personality Oprah Winfrey, where they will reveal their true thoughts and feelings of their time in Britain and why they left the monarchy.

It comes as Buckingham Palace's HR team will investigate allegations of bullying against Meghan Markle following a bombshell story recently published.

The Times of London revealed Meghan had been the subject of an official bullying complaint in October of 2018, which accused her of mistreating her staff members.

Discussing the interview, Mr Patrick told Sky News "it's a pretty big step".

"Do you really want to take on the Queen, do you really want to take on the Royal Family".

"It's unseemly".

"And you're going to get massive blowback.

"You may live in the States and feel that insulates you, but it's a global media market so I'm just not sure it's wise from their point of view".
