LIVE: Medical Charter Plane Crashes Near Ranchi | Contact Lost After Takeoff

A medical charter flight went off radar shortly after taking off from Birsa Munda Airport, according to DGCA and airport sources.

The flight initially established contact with the next air traffic control station, but after being handed over to the subsequent station, communication was lost. The aircraft did not re-establish contact with Ranchi Airport.

Authorities confirm that all standard operating procedures are being followed, and the State has been informed. Fatalities are feared, and rescue operations are underway.
