Chris is heading out to sea, to help try to save an endangered Grey Nurse shark, which has been spotted entangled in fishing line and with a hook stuck in its mouth.

A specialist rescue team has been assembled and Chris is joining them in the water, to try to corral the injured shark so it can be brought to the surface.

At SASH a newborn wallaby has been rushed in after its mother was hit and killed by a car. Specialist surgeon Dr Steve Fernside is anxious to check if the fragile little orphan has any injuries. The immediate priority is to minimise shock and make sure the tiny roo doesn't lost too much body heat.

Chris' new little kitten Cricket is recovering well from the complicated surgery to save her leg. But lately Chris has started noticing some unusual behaviour in the lively kitten. Cricket is clearly on heat, and now she'll have to undergo more surgery.

Near Double Bay 2 local residents have noticed a young duck that's in trouble and they've called Chris to check it out. The duck has a nasty limp, and when Chris finally manages to catch it he discovers it has a badly swollen leg.
Everyone is stunned when Chris diagnoses a bad case of gout.

At the Australian Reptile Park Tim and keeper Bill have their hands full looking after 2 orphaned joeys. As well as round the clock feeding the young animals also need playtime, and Tim decides a visit home to meet his boys is just the thing for all the energetic youngsters.
