This is the longplay of the game “Daze Before Christmas” game developed by the Norwegian company Funcom and released by Sunsoft in 1994 for Super Nintendo and Mega Drive, being the SNES version released only in Europe and Mega Drive exclusively in Australia, which makes it a little known title and rare collector's item. This video is from the Mega Drive version.

The player controls Santa himself with his magical powers with the mission of saving his helper elves, reindeer and gifts that have been captured by the Evil Snowman and other evil creatures.

A curious feature is Santa's ability to transform into his evil-looking evil twin, the "Anti-Claus", by sipping a cup of tea. Like Anti-Claus, the character is invincible, but unable to use his magic or collect gifts. Your main method of attack is to swing your toy bag at enemies.

It is a relatively easy game and a lot of fun, which faithfully carries the magic of Christmas. Hope you like it.
