This is the longplay of the game Mega Man: The Sequel Wars, action and platform game released for the Sega Genesis in May 2023, developed by Woodfrog (@woodfrog9614, @sequelwars5870), programmer and game developer. This is Episode Red, which contains the Mega Man IV game.

Mega Man: The Sequel Wars is a fan-made homebrew remake of Mega Man 4, 5 and 6 for the Sega Genesis, following in the footsteps of the officially released Mega Man: The Wily Wars (collection containing Mega Man 1, 2 and 3). The idea for Sequel Wars is to make Mega Man 4, 5 and 6 in the same style as Wily Wars, as Capcom had not made that sequel at the time.

This game is not a hack, but a game made entirely from scratch. It is possible to play with Mega Man, Protoman, Roll and Man (which is bizarre, being nothing more than Mega Man and the bosses with just the head and legs). This video was made with version 1.1 (which fixed some minor bugs and added a new optional cheat). As I already recorded a video in Purist mode, this one was made in Default mode (which has songs in different arrangements).

The video was made with Mega Man, Protoman and Roll, playing at the normal level with all of them and with settings referring to Mega Man IV. The game is incredible and highly recommended for Mega Man fans. I hope you enjoy the video.
