How to Open Mahindra XUV700 Hood?

Opening the Mahindra XUV700 hood is a straightforward process designed for safety and ease. First, locate the primary hood release lever situated inside the cabin, typically on the driver's side, low down near the door sill or under the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel. Pull this lever firmly; you'll hear a slight "pop" sound as the hood releases partially. Next, move to the front of the vehicle. Gently lift the hood a few inches to access the secondary safety latch. This latch is usually a small lever or tab located centrally, just under the front edge of the hood. Push or slide this secondary latch to the side (often to the left or right) while simultaneously lifting the hood further. Once fully open, secure the hood using the prop rod, which is usually attached to the underside of the hood or near the engine bay, by inserting its end into the designated slot to keep the hood safely elevated.
