In the chapter, #Summation_of_Series of Fundamentals of Mathematics, students will learn various kinds of #series, the sum of which can be found by different methods. We shall consider generally three kinds of series (finite/infinite) which are :
(i) Algebraic series
(ii) Recurring series
(iii) Trigonometrical series.
To find the sum of various types of series we need the important known results which are shown in the first lecture of this chapter. Students also learn about #Arithmetic_Progression and #Geometric_Progression.
In the #algebraic_series we use #method_of_difference, #difference_table, sum of a series when the method of difference in a Geometric Progression. Also in the #recurring_series we use its scale of relation, #generating_function of a recurring series, general term of recurring series. Also in the #Trigonometrical_series we use method of difference A.P. sine and cosine series in angle, C + i S method.
