How to Create and Edit Tables in Affinity Publisher for iPad

To create a table in Affinity Publisher for iPad:
1. Tap the Table Tool in the toolbar.
2. Drag to draw the table on the page.
3. To add or remove rows or columns, tap the arrows at the end of the table.
4. To merge or split cells, tap and hold on a cell, then select the desired option from the menu.
5. To enter text or data into the table, tap on a cell and start typing.
To edit a table in Affinity Publisher for iPad:
1. Tap on the table to select it.
2. To move or resize the table, tap and drag on a handle.
3. To edit the contents of a cell, tap on the cell and start typing.
4. To change the formatting of a cell, tap on the cell and then tap the Table panel in the Studio (tap the View menu and select Studio if it is not already visible).
5. Use the controls in the Table panel to change the cell's borders, fill, text alignment, and other settings.
Here are some additional tips for working with tables in Affinity Publisher for iPad:
- To select multiple cells, tap and drag on the table to draw a rectangle around the cells you want to select.
- To copy and paste cells, tap and hold on a cell or group of cells, then select Copy or Cut from the menu. To paste the cells, tap and hold on the location where you want to paste them, then select Paste from the menu.
- To delete cells, tap and hold on a cell or group of cells, then select Delete from the menu.
- To insert a row or column above or below the selected row or column, tap the Insert Row or Insert Columnbutton in the Table panel.
- To delete a row or column, tap the Delete Row or Delete Column button in the Table panel.
- To merge cells, tap and hold on a cell, then select Merge Cells from the menu. You can also merge cells by tapping and dragging a selection over the cells you want to merge.
- To split a cell, tap and hold on a cell, then select Split Cell from the menu. You can also split a cell by tapping and dragging a boundary line between the cells you want to split.
