Worst plumbing failure causes huge setback!

This is what happens when you're not 100% prepared for what you're doing. It was time to water test my freshly installed drain waste vent system in our remodel. To do that you plug up all the places the water can flow out of the system and you fill all the pipes with water and look for leaks. To plug the lines the best practice is to install an inflatable rubber ball into a clean out or test tee and pump it up to a fairly high pressure to hold back the weight of the water.

My mistake was to think I could guesstimate the correct air pressure without checking it with a proper pressure gauge. Well that's the last time I try that, let me tell you! Check out the video to see the results of not having the proper equipment for the job.
