Frank Zappa 5.13+ (8b) On Gear

An ascent of 'Frank Zappa Appreciation Society' 5.13+ in Escalante Canyon (Colarado).

Absolutely loved this route, short and burly and packs a punch right until the anchor. I fell mid crux on the onsight, then ended up getting it on my third attempt.

The first ascent of this route was made by Rob Pizem and takes the steep Cobra feature through a roof on baggy fingers and ring locks. The locks a reasonably solid but the climbing is burly.
