How to print a collagraph plate without a press with Vicky Oldfield

Artist and short course tutor Vicky Oldfield demonstrates how to print without a press so you can create artworks with your existing collagraph plates at home. Why not turn them into artworks, work into them with watercolours, or make cards for friends and family.

You will need:
Clipboard
Etching ink
Brush
Scrap paper
Tissue
Spoon
Gloves
Spray bottle with water
Thin strong paper, for example a Japanese paper
Collagraph plate to print from

Vicky’s work is well represented by galleries across the UK, and has exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer exhibition, The Mall Galleries and in Tokyo, Japan. She is inspired by stories and everyday life, flowers on a walk or in the garden, or a collection of still life objects.
