Public Lecture: Celebration of Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka's Memoir - Walking With Gorillas

NatureUganda in collaboration with Conservation Through Public Health (CTPH) have organized a Public lecture in celebration of Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka’s memoir ‘’Walking With Gorillas’’ on Thursday, June 8th 2023 at the Uganda Museum, starting at 2:00 pm EAT.

Dr. Gladys Kalema-Zikusoka is a celebrated Ugandan wildlife veterinarian dedicated to the coexistence of endangered mountain gorillas, other wildlife, humans, and livestock in Africa. She is also globally recognized as Uganda's first full time wildlife veterinarian in her role as the first veterinary officer of Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) and a pioneer of the One Health approach to conservation that improves the health of people, animals and the environment together through founding CTPH.
