[Remastered] Legendary Double-Bassist Ovidiu Badila: Variations on a Rococo Theme by P. Tchaikovsky

The quality of the original recording is so bad that sometimes it is even suffering to just listen to it due to the extremely high distortion. I tried to restore the quality but unfortunately it is impossible to make it sounds as perfect as it should be. Still, in generally the sound quality is way better than the original recording, plus I made it from mono to stereo.

Ovidiu Badila was a Romanian legendary Double-Bassist. He won several international competitions, such as Markneukirchen (1985), Reims (1988) and Donostia-San Sebastian (1989).

His extremely beautiful sound at some point made the double-bass sounds like a cello. He was a super virtuoso as well, you can't imagine how difficult it is to play such a hard piece on a double-bass.
