The 18th Attic | 4K Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

It is time to archive another horror game and today we have one from the talented Steelkrill Studio. This solo developer has mad some very scary games like Backrooms 1998 and Baby Blues Nightmares. The 18th Attic is a spin on the anomaly horror genre where you are stuck in a loop and have to observe your surroundings to find anything out of the ordinary.
You are going up into the same looking attic again and again and each time you have to look for anomalies and take a picture in order to clear the room. If there is no anomaly, you are free to continue upward, but if you do find something strange like a mysterious shadow or a missing object then you have to take a photo of that. The twist that comes with this is that at a certain point you are being chased by an entity that only moves when you look at it. But while you are being chased you still need to look for anomalies which causes some extra tension.
Despite it being a horror game and having some effective jump scares, it is also surprisingly cozy as the environments are colorful and you have a cute cat that you can pet to heal your sanity. Overall it is a great game that is a nice addition to the anomaly horror genre with the right amount of difficulty without being too stressfull or unfair.
