The Original Human Design Had No Reproduction — A Sumerian Text Says Who Changed It and Why

The Atra-Hasis Epic — a genuine Babylonian clay tablet from 1700 BCE, academically translated and publicly available — describes the creation of humans in two distinct phases. The first humans could not reproduce. Every worker had to be individually manufactured through a divine production process. Then Enki secretly modified the design to enable self-reproduction, without Enlil's authorisation. When Enlil discovered the human population was multiplying beyond his control, he sent plague, then drought, then famine, then the flood. Each time Enki secretly warned the humans. The flood was not a punishment for wickedness. It was a response to an unauthorised reproductive upgrade. This video reads the tablet.
