Gail Stepanek and Jan Hutchison Win Best of Show at AQS QuiltWeek - Grand Rapids 2022

Bonnie Browning talks with Gail Stepanek and Jan Hutchison, who won Best of Show at AQS QuiltWeek - Grand Rapids 2022, with their quilt, SPANGLED. Gail pieced and appliqued the quilt top and Jan quilted it. Two layers of batting were used - wool batting on top of 80/20 cotton/polyester batting. The circles were cut from a fabric with circles in it, and the black dots and border were cut from a fusible vinyl and adhered with a steam press.
