My Colorblind Son Sees Colors for the First Time

P Alan using Pilestone Color Blind Glasses to see the color Blue for the FIRST TIME EVER.

My Son has a pretty extreme Deutan Color Blindness, which is a Red-Green Color Blindness that causes his Green Cone to detect more Red light than Green. As a result red, yellow, green and brown can appear similar. His is so extreme that we thought for a while he had the even more rare version that affected the Blue Cone. To him Blue has always appeared as gray.

I must say that we did not have high hopes for the Pilestone Color Blind Glasses, since he was so extreme. Watch this video to see how well they worked.
