UK Parliament Open Lecture - A rule to go by: what is the point of parliamentary procedure?

On Friday 7 February 2014, Aberystwyth University hosted an Open Lecture from Paul Evans, Principal Clerk of the Table Office in the House of Commons. Paul explored the origins, development and impact of parliamentary procedure, the rules which govern debate in the House of Commons.
