天龙岩记
山不在高,有仙则名。巽寮天龙岩之所以闻名遐迩，除了风景这边独好之外，更以美丽的传说著称。
相传很久以前,观音脚踏鳌鱼在汪洋大海中巡游(详考《华严经》五十三参海岛图)。其途经此处时发现海岛乃风水宝地,便驻足开辟此为道场。顿时祥云普照,海水退落形成一大片陆地。尔后，鳌鱼化为巨石,其下天然成一岩洞，观音安坐其中。岩洞旁另有七块大石环绕，成七星伴月状，传说是七星下凡。大石或状如元宝，或状如官帽，或状如镜台，或状如石锁……分别是北斗七星中的禄存星、文曲星、廉贞星、武曲星等。可谓惟妙惟肖、天造地设。魁星也将鳌鱼坐骑留在此地，所以现场可见有两条石化鳌鱼。如今，鳌鱼石背上可见仙人留下的脚印圣迹。天龙岩也因诸天龙神齐聚于此而得名。
天龙岩所处位置真乃得天独厚。四面环山，背山瞰海，前方视野开阔，关锁紧密，聚气纳福，蔚为大观。本山龙脉正好与对面阿婆角的一支龙脉遥相呼应，双龙扼守各方水口，守护整个稔平半岛。
明朝初年，赤砂村先民迁居于此，沿山坡开垦良田，休养生息。从此，山间鸡犬相闻，人烟阜盛。赤砂村民感于神灵庇佑，遂于天龙岩设坛敬拜，观音安坐莲台，普渡众生。每逢观音吉诞及隆重庆典日，近邻远客络绎于途，咸集于此。父老乡亲、高官商贾、门徒信众，无论求平安、子嗣、学业，还是求功名、财禄、幸福，只要心存善念虔诚敬拜，自会有求必应。
星转斗移,沧桑变幻，唯有天龙岩仍矗立如初。登顶远眺，东面为乡间田园，阡陌纵横、村舍错落，宛如世外桃源；西边濒临大海，碧波万顷、舟楫如织，美如丹青画卷。既可朝看旭日东升，又可夕观落日西沉，气象万千。当初诸天龙神垂青于斯的缘由，定是醉心于此的美景。

A deity makes a mountain, not its altitude. Xunliao Tianlongyan is famous not only for its unique scenery, but also for its beautiful legends.
According to legend, a long time ago, Avalokitesvara cruised in the vast ocean with his feet on the carp (refer to the map of islands in the fifty-three references to the Huayan Sutra for details). When he passed by here, he found that the island is a treasure land of geomantic omen, so he stopped to open up this place as a dojo. All of a sudden, auspicious clouds shone, and the sea receded to form a large landmass. Afterwards, the carp turned into a boulder, and a cave was naturally formed under it, in which Avalokitesvara sat peacefully. Surrounded by seven big rocks beside the cave, it is in the shape of seven stars accompanying the moon. Legend has it that the seven stars descended to earth. The big stones are shaped like ingots, official hats, mirror stands, or stone locks... They are Lucun, Wenqu, Lianzhen, Wuqu and so on among the Big Dipper. It can be said to be lifelike and designed by nature. Kuixing also left the carp mount here, so two petrified carp can be seen at the scene. Today, the sacred footprints left by the immortals can be seen on the back of the Aoyu stone. Tianlongyan is also named because all the dragon gods gather here.
The location of Tianlongyan is truly unique. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, overlooking the sea with the mountains behind, the front view is wide, the locks are tight, and the Qi and blessings are gathered, which is a grand sight. The dragon vein of this mountain just echoes the dragon vein of Apojiao on the opposite side. The two dragons guard the water inlets of all sides and guard the entire Renping Peninsula.
In the early Ming Dynasty, the ancestors of Chisha Village moved here to reclaim fertile fields along the hillside to recuperate. Since then, chickens and dogs have heard of each other in the mountains, and Fu has flourished. The villagers of Chisha felt the blessing of the gods, so they set up an altar in Tianlongyan to worship, and Guanyin sat on the lotus platform to save all living beings. Every auspicious birthday of Avalokitesvara and the grand celebration day, visitors from near and far alike flock here. Fathers and folks, high-ranking officials and merchants, disciples and believers, whether they seek peace, children, education, or fame, wealth, or happiness, as long as they worship sincerely with kind thoughts in their hearts, they will surely respond to their requests.
The stars change, the vicissitudes change, only Tianlongyan still stands upright. Climb to the top and look far away, to the east is the rural countryside, with crisscross paths and scattered cottages, just like a paradise; to the west is the sea, with blue waves and boats like weaving, which is as beautiful as a painting scroll. You can not only watch the rising sun in the morning, but also watch the setting sun in the evening. The reason why the dragon gods of the heavens favored here at the beginning must be because they were fascinated by the beautiful scenery here.
