Autism: New Mutations, Models and Genetic Subtypes

This talk explores recent advances in genomics and next-generation sequencing to understand the genetic basis of autism. It focuses on identification of genes and pathways important for a subset of patients and how that information is being used to define clinical subtypes of autism. It also discusses future directions to discover the remaining genetic basis of autism spectrum disorders as well as the potential clinical impact of this work.
