First Russian IL-96 400M Passenger Plane Takes Off

During the flight of the IL-96 400M, the pilots checked the stability, controllability of the aircraft, the operability of systems, the power plant and radio equipment for landing.

The test program went as planned, the stable operation of Russian systems and equipment, most of which were manufactured by Rostec enterprises, was confirmed.

The flight took place at altitudes of up to 2000 meters, speeds of up to 390 km/h and lasted 26 minutes, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation reported.
