Pre-Fall 2021 is a collection for the present that strongly exhibits the brand’s penchant for storytelling. “It was important that every piece told its own story,” shares Silvia “just like the women who wear it,” she adds.

The wave, a metaphorical reminder of the movement of energy and the opportunity for renewal, played a crucial role in the elaboration of this collection and can be seen in everything from trimmings to silhouettes.

Geometric prints with a hint of unevenness and loose silhouettes that are apt for the whole year take the spotlight in fabrics like sinuous silk and rich merino. This time around, flowers and the line: once upon a time, embellish these blouses and tops, reminding us of the power of stories and new beginnings. Moreover, earthy cotton and delicate taffetas are also present in separates meant to be mixed and matched. An ample and unexpected color palette that includes army green, mustard, burnt orange, steel and a range of blue shades including cobalt and navy, strongly blend and contrast with one another.

Expect day-to-night dresses, the firm’s signature stripes and novel experimentation with knit cardigans and silk panels that match other items in the collection. “We wanted creations that felt timeless, but also inspired one to dream.” Delicate embroideries and haute couture techniques further embellish the collection giving it the luster and shine the world so desperately needs. Each piece tells its own story— perhaps it’s one about
love, a meeting in time or one that has yet to happen.

Érase una vez
Pre-Fall 2021 es una colección “a tono” con el presente y refleja una de las pasiones más grandes de la firma: contar historias. “Era muy importante que cada una de las piezas contará su propia historia” comparte Silvia, “de la misma manera que cada mujer que lleva las prendas puede contar la suya”.
Las siluetas sueltas, los estampados geométricos, las sedas y, por primera vez, el merino, se pueden llevar todo el año, reforzando el carácter transicional de esta temporada. En esta ocasión, las flores y la frase “Once upon a time” (Érase una vez) embellecen algunas de las piezas y a la vez nos recuerdan la oportunidad que presentan los nuevos comienzos. También están presentes los algodones en tonalidades neutras y delicadas taffetas en piezas creadas para ser combinadas con otras. Los colores utilizados como verde oscuro, mostaza, naranja, acero y varios azules, desde el cobalto hasta el marino, fueron contrastados en forma muy artística. Mención especial se merecen los vestidos que se pueden llevar del día a la noche, las rayas características de la casa y los cardigans con paneles de seda. Delicados tejidos y técnicas de alta costura le otorgan a las piezas ese brillo y belleza que tanto necesitamos actualmente.

Tcherassi. Cada una de estas piezas cuenta su propia historia: La ilusión de un nuevo amor, un reencuentro en el tiempo o algo que aún está por venir.
