White roses , also known under the title bloomed buds of white roses - Polish military and patriotic song was created around 1918 composed by Mieczysława Kozar-Słobódzkiego with words Kazimierz Wroczyński , Jana Lankau and other anonymous authors.
In the song, the young lonely girl despairs after losing her beloved Jasieńka, who went to war and never returned home. Someone (most likely another soldier) describes Jasieńek's heroic death and comforts the abandoned widow.
