Canada closely watching US autoworker negotations as strike looms
Talks have stalled between the United Auto Workers (UAW) and Detroit's "Big Three" automakers, Ford, General Motors and Stellantis.
146,000 employees are prepared to walk off the job, which would be the first time in the union’s 80-plus-year history that it took job action against all three companies simultaneously.
