मोहन तेरे चरणों की जो धुल ही मिल जाए,
mohana tere charano ki jo dhula hi mila jaye
O Shree krishna! If I could only get the dust of your lotus feet....

सच कहता हूँ मेरी तकदीर बदल जाए ।
sache kahata hu meri takadir badal jaye
I tell you the truth - it will change my destiny forever.

सुनता हूँ कृपा तेरी दिन रात बरसती है ,
sunta hu kripa teri din raat barasti hai
I hear that your grace is showered freely day and night...

इक बूंद जो मिल जाए मन की कली खिल जाए ।
ik bund jo mil jaye maan ki kali khil jaye
If I could get even a drop of that grace, I will be overwhelmed with joy.

यह मन बड़ा चंचल है कैसे तेरा भजन करूँ ?
yaha maan bada chanchal hai kaise tera bhajan karu
This mind of mine is so fickle - how can I engage it in your devotion?

जितना इसे समझाऊँ उतना ही मचल जाए ।
jitana ise samjhaun utana hi machal jaye
The more I try to make it understand, the more agitated it becomes.

मोहन इस जीवन की बस एक तमन्ना है,
mohan is jivan ki bas ek tamanna hai
O Shree Krishna! I have only one wish in life...

तुम सामने हो मेरे और प्राण निकल जाए ।
tum samane ho mere aur pran nikal jaye
May you be in front of me when I die.
