kaȟwókA 16K

kaȟwókA (Kahwoka) is the Lakota word for "being carried along by the wind." It is just one of several ways the Lakota people express the wind spirit of the American Great Plains. I went there to see if I could capture that feeling using my custom-made 16K video camera system (two Canon EOS 5Ds 50-megapixel cameras shooting side by side). I stitched the left and right images together to create thousands of 15985 × 5792 pixel images and then rendered them in a 16K video sequence. It is published here in 4K since few have the means to exhibit or view 16K video...yet.
