The Sacred War - Epic Instrumental Performance

Dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the defeat of German troops in Stalingrad and the end of the greatest battle in the history of mankind. And although the date is not round, it should always be remembered.

Music: Yury Levitin - main theme from the movie "Liberation" (1967-1972) on the motif of the song "The Sacred War".

There was no Battle of Stalingrad in the original film (it was screened by Yuri Ozerov later, in 1989), but Levitin's music is so cool and heartfelt that it deserves to be the leitmotif of the whole Great Patriotic War.
