Sukiya and Yoshinoya are popular places that serve Gyudon and this recipe on how to make it will replicate the deliciousness. According to my daughters it is the best gyudon recipe ever!

Ingredients

3/4 to 1 lbs Beef sliced thin

1 medium to large onion
1 egg per person
1 inch of ginger grated
150 ml Dashi Stock

2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp sake
1 tbsp mirin
1 tbsp sugar
(if using 1 lbs of meat, add 1/4 more of each liquid ingredient)

Garnish
Green Onion diced
Benishoga- Pickled Ginger
