Bunions (Hallux Valgus): Exercises and Treatment
Bunions (also known as hallux valgus) is a progressive deformity which involves lateral deviation of the great toe and medial deviation of the first metatarsal. It typically involves development of a bony prominence on the medial aspect of the first metatarsal head.
There are a wide range of exercises and treatment options for bunions, but how beneficial are they? Can they help reduce pain? Improve function? And can they reduce the severity?
