Some Columbia University Protesters Agree to Remove Tents
Pro-Palestine protests spread to the University of Texas at Austin with hundreds of police in full riot gear confronting students who walked out of classes. Meanwhile, some tents from the pro-Palestine encampment engulfing the Columbia University campus were removed. The drama followed a tense stand-off between demonstrators and police. The students agreed to scale the encampment back. However, some of the tents that were removed were back in place.
