italy diaries ep.06 | weeklong trip to amsterdam, barcelona, and florence!

About mid-way through my Rome study abroad architecture program, we had a week-long break! My friends and I decided to visit Amsterdam and Barcelona (with a spontaneous trip to Florence as well).

Amsterdam ended up being my favorite place I visited that quarter! The autumn air was so crispy, the scenery was beautiful, and the weather was perfect. Even in the rain, you are beautiful. Looking back, I don't know how we managed to visit so many places in a day, but it was so, so fun.

Barcelona's Sagrada Familia was the main reason we went (nerds), and it was truly amazing. The videos do not do it justice!! I actually liked the Barcelona pavilion much more than I thought I would, too!

It was nice traveling with my arch buddies, and I liked how we spent some time sketching. This quarter was the first time I really got into sketching.
