Propeller Carving

Propeller carved with hand tools..home made...if you carving a bigger propeller make a bigger trailing edge depth gauge tool.Drill holes the diameter size of the screw bolt..so that the screws of the tool penetrates the trailing edge timber area...and this depth is how much you carve and then very slowly you use rasp..or small spokeshave and match the surface to the profile you already have... ...dont go beyond limit...drill just above..then slowly go down to the profile limits......hope this helps....making this tool is painful but worth the effort..!
