Hydro Power with MPPT Charge Controller

Time to test out the power of the new MPPT charge controller. This unit is basic and not really designed for Hydro. Will it provide an increase of power or will it read the same as the other charge controller? Also I try to install a 24v system and the batteries are too low and do not allow the charge controller to read 24v.
