This 1 Delivery Pipe Mistake could Cost all my Ram Pump Water

When you store your water from the ram pump its important to make sure that the delivery pipe does not stick down into the tank lid in a way that water could be siphoned back out during a valve failure. In my case I had the delivery pipe stuck down about half way into the lid of my 330 gallon IBC tote. This means that I could have lost over 100 gallons of the stored water if the ram pump inline valve were to get debris in it. The simple solution is to have the pipe fill the tank only at the very opening of the tank and not dip inside.
