EDIT: Don't use Slosh Sealer.. see my other video: https://youtu.be/xIQ60uTNMMk
In this video I start by showing the work I did on my fuel tanks and talk about other ways to seal tanks in the event that my solution doesn't work. And I managed to not get proseal all over myself! yay!
Then I get back to working on (and finishing up) the bottom of the fuselage. The skin is finally on! It took forever just due to aligning my schedule (I have two other jobs) and my wifes schedule (who works a lot).. (She didn't let me film hehe)
The only real issue was a couple corners of the fuselage bottoms where I had to figure out how to get my hand in there due to it being very tight and awkward. Can you count how many times I say awkward in the video?! it's a lot..haha
I then move on to the next section which is the firewall.. it's primary piece is a stainless steel and be sure to go sloooooow when you drill it. If you go too fast it will actually just burn it. I will prime the various aluminum parts that touch the steel just in case. It shouldn't need it but better safe than sorry.
There are a couple times when I rivet towards the 10 minute mark of the video and they get loud.. sorry I meant to mute those down and I forgot to .. sooo.. don't leave the volume too loud.
It's also starting to get really hot out in the hangar so.. bleh.. Thank god I have that big fan blowing hot air on me.. er.. wait. heh
The fuselage bottom is done though and while not heavy it's an awkward shape that will be tough to move without help. I can't wait to attach it to the rest of the plane!
